CCI wows the crowds at Texworld

In February, CCI returned to the Texworld trade show in Paris to promote the benefits of U.S. cotton. The U.S. cotton export marketing agency jointly exhibited with Cotton Incorporated at the world-renowned trade show and featured the latest initiatives in Supply Chain Marketing.

The industry was well represented and visitor quality was high with over 16,000 trade professionals attending the event. It was evident that Texworld has continued to deliver its commitment to improve services to professional buyers through helping them meet suppliers and place orders. 'Traceability' was a major theme at the event with buyers asking our representatives how to ensure cotton they buy can be traced.

The COTTON USA booth featured information on U.S. cotton and cotton trends for 2008, plus a Supima section which highlighted CCI's credentials in supplying the highest quality U.S. cotton.  The purpose of the booth was to bring buyers and suppliers together and highlight how CCI adds value to their businesses. Lots of people visited the booth on all days, giving CCI numerous opportunities to meet with current and prospective COTTON USA licensees, ranging from top international brands and retailers, such as Marks & Spencer; Max Mara; Arcadia; JC Penney; Mango; Stefanel; Tesco and Chicco.
