New consumer ads and websites promote COTTON USA
The year 2009 sees the beginning of an exciting new consumer advertising campaign, which has been designed to raise awareness of the COTTON USA Mark. Encapsulating the soft and sensual image of cotton, the campaign features an exclusive range of clothes from a collection by top Columbian fashion designer Julieta Suarez. The photographic shoot took place in the beautiful cotton fields of local farmers Jim and Kathy Bertao in Fresno, California.
To reflect the new advertising campaign, COTTON USA has launched its new-look trade and consumer websites. The fresh new sites are easy-to-navigate and will continue to provide buyers and consumers with up-to-date news and information on the COTTON USA Mark and the U.S. cotton industry. In addition, both websites contain most of the advertisements that are being featured in the campaign.
The eye-catching adverts have been placed in a wide range of publications that went on sale from the end of January. The Sunday Times Style Magazine and Sunday Telegraph Stella Magazine, as well as women’s consumer titles Marie Claire, Vogue, Elle, Red, She Magazine and Grazia, are all featuring the campaign. CCI is also reaching out to male consumers with adverts appearing in high-end glossy magazine GQ. To raise awareness with consumers interested in home furnishings, placements have also been made in Homes & Gardens, House Beautiful, Ideal Home and Country Homes & Interiors. The trade has also been targeted through a dedicated advertising partnership with Drapers.
